Summer salad

Who said that a salad cannot be tasty? Our Lettuce, PGI Finocchiona, melon and dried plum salad is a symbol of quality and taste. It is very easy to be prepared and even more delicious to be eaten.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • PGI Finocchiona: 100 gr
  • Lettuce: 400 gr
  • Half Fresh fennel
  • One quarter of Melon
  • Dried plums: 6
  • PGI Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive OIl as needed
  • Salt and pepper as needed

Procedure:

Wash and dry lettuce and fresh fennel, cut the salad and fennel in strips. Remove the melon skin and cut it into cubes, add it to lettuce and fennel in a bowl. Cut the dried plums in two halves and add them to vegetables, together with PGI Finocchiona cut into thin slices: you may also cut the PGI Finocchiona into strips, if desired. Season with Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt and pepper
